Syllabus:Humankind and kinds of humans. Approaches to race and ethnicity. Growth of nationalism, racism and exclusive identities. Australian and Asian forms of racism and nationalism. Feminisms, masculinity's and sexualities. Class, property and power. Intersections of ethnicity, race, gender and class. Cross-cultural case studies in relation to - Australia, India, China and Japan.
