Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Understand the relationship between general business management and health and safety management functions. Identify key drivers and concepts underpinning systematic approaches to OHS management. Outline the key skills and knowledge required for implementing the OHS management function. Understand the principles of health and safety management systems and be able to identify the key system elements appropriate to organisational performance needs. Communicate recommended strategies effectively to decision makers. |
