Syllabus:Introduction to the broad environmental issues (air, land, water) in the context of the Swan Coastal Plain.
 
Unit Outcomes: Upon completion of this unit students will have developed an understanding of the state of the environment (sustainability, biodiversity), physical characteristics of Swan Coastal Plain (geology, soils, vegetation, hydrology) and human response involvingthe Swan Coastal Plain. Developed an understanding of air pollution, global warming, water pollution, land degradation, planning for environmental protection, and sustainable indicators and development planning.
