Syllabus: | Focuses on learning on a further understanding of the design process and practice, which can be applied to any of the design specialisms, or endeavors where design is an integral part of their practice. Students also undertake projects as part of a team. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, the student will have - Applied a generic model of the design process to problem solving and also to further understand the critical issues that impact on design solutions, such as inclusivity, the contexts, culture and human factors in design. Developed a consistent and quality design process, practice, innovation, communication skills, and the presentation of ideas and concepts. Emphasised on the acquisition of the basic skills and practice for successfully working as part of a team. |
