| Syllabus: | Provides the participant with a combination of theoretical and practical approaches. Within the regular lecture time, two practical workshops on administering the WAIS-III will be conducted. Other lectures will cover theoretical issues relating to the psychometrics of tests and evaluating tests used across different settings. |

| Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will - Have an understanding of test construction and how to evaluate the psychometric qualities of a test. Have an understanding of, and fundamental skills in the practice of interview techniques. Have a specific understanding of tests used in various settings (clinical, organisational etc.). Have developed an understanding of and ability to evaluate psychological reports based on test results. Have developed skills in the administration of a commonly usedtest. |
