Syllabus:Development (physical, cognitive, moral and psychosocial) through the lifespan with a particular emphasis on the secondary level and on students with special needs (physical and intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties, special abilities and talents). Theoretical and applied focus relevant to the current teaching context.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated knowledge and awareness of developmental processes of students including those with special needs. Applied to teaching context.
