Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have developed - An understanding of common psychological disorders, including their aetiology, maintaining mechanisms and effective treatment. Proficiency in the diagnosis of psychological disorders. Proficiency in formulating theory-based conceptualisations of psychological disorders. Knowledge of treatments that are effective with specific psychological disorders and an understanding of how treatments are applied to the most common psychological disorders. |
