Syllabus:Petrology, mineralogy, diagenesis, porosity and permeability variations of clastic and carbonate rocks, with special attention to Australian reservoir formations, reservoir case studies. Introduction to techniques and objectives of core analysis.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit students will have - Understood the petrological and petrophysical properties of reservoir rocks.
