Syllabus: | Provides participants with the opportunity to explore the issues relating to the human resource management needs of multinational enterprises as well as smaller organisations. Exploration of aspects of international human resource management activities such as staffing the organisation, employee development, appraisals, compensation. Addresses the role of human resources in culturally diverse organisations. |

Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have - Gained the ability to analyse recent developments and key issues in international human resource management. Applied a systems framework for discussion and research into the issues facing Human Resource Management operating in a future environments. Applied systems and complexity perspectives to managing international human resources. Gained the ability to explore organisational and Human Resource trends and their implications for the future. |
