Syllabus: | Focuses on key leadership and management skills such as clarifying personal vision, organisational learning, peer coaching, time management, negotiation, goal setting, stress management and communication skills. Exercises and assignments are used to develop personal and interpersonal effectiveness. Examines the developing roles of managers in their regional and global environments. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Improved personal and leadership/management skills in at least 3 areas. Developed an ability to assess leadership and management skill needs and how these skills can be improved. Awareness of the factors that constrain or limit personal and professional development and effectiveness. Improved understanding of leadership and management development models and frameworks. |
