Syllabus:Advanced Industrial - selected topics relating to State and Federal employee relations laws, including compensation and equal opportunity laws, strike law, occupational health and safety.
 
Unit Outcomes: The objective of the course is to provide an intensive and detailed examination of industrial relations in Australia. The examination of these laws will allow for an understanding of the rights and duties of the stakeholders in system: the employers, employees trade unions and industrial tribunals. You will be expected to have had a background in industrial laws. The emphasis on this course is on self-directed research, with supervision by the course controller.
