Syllabus:Focuses on improving the effectiveness of the human aspect of work within Australia and its global counterparts. Covers personality and motivation, leadership, group processes, performance appraisal, conflict and work re-design through simulated case studies and application to Australian/International workplaces.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Described and critiqued concepts, models or theories relating to at least three topics covered this trimester. Explained the meaning and relevance of at least three major concepts and theories related to the study of leadership or communication in Organisational Behaviour. Understood at least six practical ways a manager can improve employee job satisfaction and performance of their employees through the study and application of relevant theory.
