Syllabus:

Enhances your cross-cultural communication, understanding and skills. The assignments enable concentration on culture-specific areas of your choice, so you learn about yourself, your own values and assumptions, and prepare for interaction in any culture.Barriers across cultures, and methods to overcome them, are analysed and practised.

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit you will have- Mixed confidently with people of other cultures in different environments. Spoken in depth to people of other cultures in your own country. Questioned your culture and those of other people. Worked with other students in culturally diverse classes. Examined real life experiences in structured situations. Critically read books and seen films from or about cultures. Reflected on past experiences or critical incidents and compared them to research literature on cultures.
