Syllabus:	Topics include government, taxation and revenue, fiscal federalism, user pricing, externalities, measures of efficiency, privatisation and taxation reform.
Unit Outcomes:	On completion of this unit students will have an appreciation of the theory of the public sector, policy processes and the way that governments implement policy using taxation, expenditure and other instruments.
