Lectures are given on contemporary topics to enable discussions to take place. Uses a range of media such as videos, audiotapes, newspapers and magazines. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Read a variety of academic texts competently. Participated meaningfully in discussions related to reading texts. Listened effectively to a range of listening texts. Made comprehensive notes from lectures. |
