Syllabus: | Introduction to some concepts and methods used in business research. Examination of the research process, problem definition, identification of information needs, setting up a research proposal, collection, tabulation, analysis, reporting and interpretation of research results. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Become able to critically evaluate and review business research methodology. Become able to prepare a sound research proposal for carrying out research on a specified business problem. Become ready to carry out a research project which includes, literature review, secondary data analysis, a research plan, collecting and analysing appropriate primary data and presenting findings both in the form of a report and orally. |

Assignment 1 Annotated Bibliography and Literature Review 30%, Assignment 2 Research Proposal 30%, Assignment 3 Class Work 30%, Presentation and Participation 10%. This is done by grade/mark assessment. |
