| Syllabus: | Seminars presented by staff. The first series concerns ethics in professional and academic psychology. The second series of seminars deals with contemporary issues in psychology. The emphasis is on the concerns that affect modern psychology. Participantsare expected to "look beyond the empirical research programs to the meta-theoretical problematics that motivate and shape them. |

| Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Have an appreciation of current ethical practice in psychology. Have practice at analysing ethical issues. Demonstrate understanding of a range of contemporary issues in academic and applied psychology. |
