Syllabus:Provides an introduction to the management of human resources and the Australian industrial relations frameworks and bargaining processes. Takes into account theoretical and practical aspects of the topics covered.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Understood and comprehended the key elements of human resource management. Understood the Australian industrial relations framework and bargaining processes. Identified, analysed and discussed key human resource management issues and their impact on the workplace. Recommended strategies to overcome management problems in the employment relationship.
