Syllabus:Fiduciary relationships. Equitable remedies. Introduction to trusts. Creation of a trust. Failing, setting aside and revocation of trusts. Charitable and purpose trusts. Implied and constructive trusts. Administration of trusts. Personal representatives.Enforcement of a trust and fiduciary obligations. Practical applications of trusts.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Analysed the historical aspects and development of trusts and equity. Identified the necessary elements that create the trust. Identified the elements, which might cause the invalidity of the trust. Described the restrictions on alienation including perpetuity. Understanding of the administration of trusts according to common law and statute.
