Syllabus: | A workshop based, technical introduction to Macromedia Freehand on a Macintosh operating system. Students will work through clearly outlined tutorials image Vector graphic construction and typographical manipulation, eventually leading into a final project for assessment at the end of semester. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed introductory skills in constructing vector based graphics. Developed introductory skills in the use of Macromedia Freehand using a Macintosh Operating system. Understood the vector paths and type manipulation in Macromedia Freehand. Developed vector images based on imported bitmap files from Adobe Photoshop. |
