Syllabus:A guided independent study of an approved topic presented either as a minor research project on an approved topic related to oenology or a literature review directed towards an oenological problem. The application of experimental design, survey techniques, systems analysis or statistics analysis or other quantitative or qualitative methods will be required.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated understanding of the theoretical aspects and conceptual basis of basic reasearch techniques including literature review, research design and analysis. Demonstrated an understanding of the appropriate application of various researchd design techinques and be able to apply them in data analysis of scientific and argibusiness management problems. Presented a research report of appropriate academic merit.
