Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Selected, administered and interpreted educational instruments to diagnose the difficulties of students with special needs. Analysed strategies to manage the self-regulatory, learning and social behaviours of students with special needs. Applied effective teaching principles to the organisation of classroom learning environments in order to maximise the learning outcomes of students with special needs. Demonstrated knowledge of child development and derive the special developmental needs of children whose developmental progress is impaired.
