Vine physiology including bud initiation, fruit growth, fruit biochemistry, ampelography. Canopy management, vineyard technology, vine improvement.Vineyard factors affecting wine quality.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit students will have - Explained the role of new and advanced aspects of viticultural technology. Described the role of viticultural technology in vineyard management. Explained the vineyard factors affecting wine quality.
