Syllabus:A guided independent study of an approved topic presented either as a minor research project on an approved topic related to oenology or a literature review directed towards an oenological problem. The application of experimental design, survey techniques, systems analysis or statistics analysis or other quantitative or qualitative methods will be required.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated understanding of the theoretical aspects and conceptual basis of basic research techniques including literature review, research design and analysis. Demonstrated understanding of the appropriate application of various research design techniques and be able to apply them data analysis of scientific and agribusiness management problems. Presented a research report of appropriate academic merit.
