Syllabus: | Exploration of the theories, nature and outcomes of political processes in space at global, national regional and local levels. Case studies of political disputes in Australia and overseas will be used to provide illustrative material. |

Unit Outcomes: | Upon completion of this unit students will have - Gained an awareness of the major schools of thought in political geography. Undertaken studies of inter and intra national conflicts from a geographical perspective. Gained awareness of cultural and environmental factors in political studies. Analysed geographic data from a political perspective. |
