Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will be able to - Assemble a machine from various components/parts. Install and configure an appropriate OS. Have the knowledge of supporting concepts/theoretical aspects of popular OS. Implement security mechanisms atOS level. Understand distributed systems and subnetting, as well as being able to describe infrastructure technology and trends. Have the knowledge of networking fundamentals (networking protocol concepts, TCP/IP, domain and addressing). |
