Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have an understanding of - The nature of strategy and strategic planning, and their purpose in modern business environments. IS Strategy Formulation and IS Planning in contemporary business environments. The need for integration of the IS plan with the corporate plan. An appreciation of the role of IS/IT in contemporary organisations, and to plan in order to benefit from the investment in IS/IT. |
