Syllabus:Laboratory Component - Refinement of skills developed in previous Medical Imaging Science units. Development of imaging skills and application of geometric principles and axial relationships in relation to radiography of the cranium, sinuses and facial bones. Clinical Component - Further clinical experience in the areas developed in Clinical Medical Imaging Science 641, together with the development of skills of areas covered in Medical Imaging Science 611.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit, the student will be able to demonstrate radiographic practical skills of the cranium and to develop further clinical expertise on Category 1 and 2 patients of the trunk and extremities, and developed clinical expertise on Category 1 and 2 patients of the vertebral column.

Unit Assessment Breakdown: Clinical Centre Evaluation 35%, Laboratory Workbook 10%, On Site Clinical Evaluation 30%, Supervisor Evaluations (2) 10%, Workbook 15%. A pass in each component is mandatory. This is by grade/mark assessment.
