Syllabus:Introduction to radiological diagnosis of the chest, abdomen and skeletal system. The evaluation of radiological evidence of disease processes and traumatic conditions on radiographs so that the technologist can provide an informed opinion when requested by a medical practitioner.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit, the student will be able to provide their informed opinion on routine non contrast radiographic examinations.

Unit Assessment Breakdown: Film Interpretation Test (2) 30%, Final Examination 40%, End of Semester Film Interpretation 30%. A 40% pass is required in each component and a 50% pass overall. This is by grade/mark assessment.
