Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have - Gained an appreciation of the diverse and rapid progress occurring in scientific research and an understanding of the time lag between new ideas and development of products. Developed an awareness of the linkage between new ideas and the technology to be able to test and evaluate these ideas and an ability to read a journal article and write a critical appraisal. Gained the ability to use library facilities to research a specified topic in science. |
