Syllabus:	The interfaces between anthropology and history to explore a comparative range of historical and contemporary constructions and definitions of 'Crime', 'Criminal Behaviour' and 'The Criminal'. The social processes and environments that produce differing notions of crime, and work through the multivocal narratives of crime and their competing frameworks, official and unofficial.
Unit Outcomes:	On completion of this unit students will have - Developed and extended skills in problem definition and analysis, library and internet research skills, and verbal and written presentation skills (on and offline). Developed and extended the capacity to work with a substanial quanitity and diverse range of research materials.
