Syllabus:	Critical evaluation of occupational therapy theory. Examination of four specific research methodologies appropriate to practice settings. A systematic review of the literature in an area of professional practice.
Unit Outcomes:	On successful completion of this unit students will have - Critically appraised the profession's philosophy, theories, models, frames of reference and values. Selected appropriate research methodologies and related data collection techniques suitable foroccupational therapy practice research. Critically and systematically reviewed the literature on a relevant clinical question. Communicated findings of the literature review.
