Syllabus:Iterative design process, screen based layout and typography, time based audio visual communication, perspectives on multimedia practice, information design, interaction design, interface design, television graphics, online, broadcast and other multimedia delivery formats.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit students should be able to - Propose viable, innivative strategies for the solution of screen based communication problems. Produce workable typographic and graphic treatments for a variety of communication applications taking account of the characteristics and limitations inherent within screen based presentation. Structure information into a time based presentation format. Apply design methods appropriate for the development and execution of multimedia projects.
