Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Demonstrate advanced competence in acute medical surgical nursing. Demonstrate advanced clinical decision making and critical thinking ability in the clinical setting. Use an evidence basedapproach to their nursing practice. Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills and act as a patient advocate within the multidisciplinary team. Provide a problem solving approach to advanced medical surgical nursing care. Function as an independent practitioner and critically evaluate nursing practice within their area of speciality. |
