Syllabus: | The theme is Exploration 2 and is an extension of Illustration Techniques 291. It focuses on the fundamental elements and principles of illustration, in order to assist students to understand and meet requirements of given briefs. Successful illustrations very often depend on well-defined briefs and focused objectives. Students will be encouraged to think creatively and be able to critically evaluate their works and those of others. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Identified, analysed and applied selected Illustration techniques. Generated and manipulated ideas in constructing required images. Selected various illustration tools such as pencils, pens, paint and computers to create different visual effects. Identified needed requirements to solve complex visual problems. Developed ideas in a creative and practical way. |
