| Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Been introduced to the ethics, principles, mechanics, vocabulary and procedures associated with surgical specimen prosection. Independently assessed the importance of surgical specimen for prosection. Independently applied the necessary prosection skills. Effectively prepared the specimen for microscopical examination. Appreciated and demonstrated an understanding of the ethical and privacy considerations during specimen prosection and preparation. Competence in the use of medical terminology. |
