| Syllabus: | Literacy is the ability to use language to operate within one's society. The current focus on improving students' literacy standards in schools means that teachers require a reasonable grounding in functional and critical English skills to ensure that they are confident and competent to teach in primary schools. Aims to meet those needs. |
