Syllabus: | Introduction to case mix and health funding within the Australian health care system. Development of Australian diagnosis related groups, structure and logic of the DRG, applications of case mix measures, case mix classifications other than the DRGs. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Described the fundamental components of casemix. Discussed alternate systems of casemix classifications. |
