Syllabus:A combination of work-in-progress seminars to present research and discuss its problems. Explorations of major methodological and theoretical issues.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Demonstrated an awareness of issues of theory and research methodology appropriate to the field of Asian Languages and Studies. Demonstrated competence in locating information on research issues and participation in and guiding academic discussions relating to Asian Languages and Studies.
