Syllabus: | Two distinct independent case studies of Internet development and application, chosen from a list of broad topics provided by Internet studies staff including, but not limited to - ownership, control and significance of infrastructure, economic fundamentals, virtual social groupings, bodies and identities in cyberspace, new meanings of time and space on line. Each case study is supervised by a member of staff. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Developed high-level knowledge of the Internet via case study analysis. Completed case study reports, suitable for online publication, at Masters level. |
