Syllabus: | Basics of distributed computing. Coordinated and uncoordinated processes. Control and an introduction to concurrency in a distributed system. Combination of concurrency control and resilience in distributed systems. Fault tolerant issues. Distributed and cooperative work. Component oriented system such as CORBA. |
