Syllabus:Improving instructional effectiveness for adult learners, analysis of teaching strategies based on learning theories, the role of motivation and intelligence in learning, practical and reflective teaching, techniques to facilitate subject teaching, self-regulated learners and organisation of learning environments, small group teaching practice.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed strategies to incorporate reflective skills into professional practice. Identified and applied a range of models of teaching. Prepare, plan and implement effective learning sessions based on the models approach. Systematically analysed and evaluated learning sessions to foster informal feedback and self development as a reflective facilitator and lifelong learner.
