Syllabus:Provides exposure to processes of business and marketing planning, enhancing their capacity to engage in professional work. The tangible outcome is a professional quality business plan. Students work individually to prepare an analysis and business plan for a real business that they have recruited.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Demonstrated application of competencies in the various business, technical and management processes acquired during the period of their study, Integrated and applied the above cognitive skills to professional orientated problem solving, show developed interpersonal skills, demonstrated a capacity to deal and communicate with clients in a professional setting, demonstrated lateral and creative thinking and problem solving skills, demonstrated a degree of self reliance and responsibility, explained the process of business planning, produced a business plan for an agribusiness firm or production unit, demonstrated competencies in oral and written communication, delivered business presentations which fulfil industry and academic standards of written and oral presentation, written a report to professional standards.
