Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will - Have an understanding of a range of core issues and challenges in helping work. Have a knowledge of some appropriate guidelines for assessment. Have a basic understanding of best practice in relation to issues such as suicide, domestic violence, grief, rural issues etc. Have a sound knowledge base for ethical decision making.
