Syllabus:Introduction to group development, process and design applicable to work and training settings. Group process and development, and understanding the relevance of group work within a range of work and training settings. Design of simple groups for training and work purposes, and planning and facilitating work and training groups.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will - Have an understanding of group processes and group development. Be able to design simple groups for training and work purposes. Understand the purpose of group development strategies. Understand the relevance of group work to a range of work and training settings. Have developed resources to enable them to plan and facilitate work and training groups.
