Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Identify the common types of rock slope failure. Undertake deterministic, probabilistic and numerical analyses of slope stability. Undertake risk-based slope design optimisation. Design implementation methods for sloe designs. Design monitoring systems for mine slopes. Design dams on mine sites. |
