Syllabus:Foundation for further specialised studies in both Performance Studies and Creative Writing. The writing and performance of narrative both as fiction and script.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Explored how words and action relate to each other in making effective communication. Explored how concepts of the body and space contribute to making of meaning in performance. Developed the skills in physical and verbal communication Explored some of the elements and structural devices of narrative fiction, script and poetry. Made use of a range of both short fiction, script and poetry texts to develop reading and analytical skills to a level that enables informed creative text production. Participated in a forum and positive technical apparatus to facilitate the constructive criticism and presentation of ideas and creative work.
