Syllabus:A continuation of the unit 303427 Design Photography (Introduction) 291 and is a core unit towards the BA (Design) Design Photography Major. The unit sets out to examine the theory and practice of photography with particular reference to its use in the Design/Media/Communication industries. The unit will facilitate a technical introduction to Medium Format Camera's and camera systems and RA4 Custom Colour printing. The unit also has a strong student centered focus towards the research and investigation of specialist areas of photographic enquiry.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Developed introductory skills and competencies with Medium Format camera systems and equipment. Developed introductory skills and competencies with Studio Flash Photography. Developed individualareas of specialist photographic learning and enquiry. Developed an intermediate knowledge and understanding of digital photographic acquisition systems. Developed introductory skills in RA4 custom colour printing.
