Syllabus: | Details the way you can make websites more engaging through effective interactivity design including interactive animation and other multimedia approaches. Explores emerging technologies for even greater levels of visual and information interactivity as well as learn about designing educational Web sites. Issues covered are learning styles, navigation for learning sites, instructional design issues, interactivity design, designing for motivation, designing help features. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have understood - How to design for a better user experience. How to design for people with different learning preferences. Advanced navigation techniques. How to use interactivity to engage Web surfers. Issues related to implementing various multimedia technologies. How to implement JavaScript, Flash, and other interactive technologies. |
