Syllabus: | Management models, values and assumptions, their influence on behaviour and role and fit with indigenous community development. Setting the policy agenda and organisational influence using the policy process. Values, principles and ethics of Indigenous Community Management and Development Practice. Analysis of own role in terms of Indigenous Community Management and Development practice. |

Unit Outcomes: | In addition to identifying an agency's mission, philosophy, goals and objectives and the importance of organisational processes, on successful completion of this unit students will have- Described their own position and their potential to enact Indigenous Community Management and Development Practice, particularly in terms of their organisation's policy processes. Identified management models and their influence on own organisation or work. |
